East Runton lies on the A149 coast road between the resorts of Sheringham and Cromer. A steepish lane leads down to the beach where at low tide there is a wide expanse of flat sand perfect for sandcastles or ball games. The beach is backed by high cliffs and there are paths into Cromer or the neighbouring village of West Runton. Away from the coast is a cluster of traditional brick and flint cottages, and an attractive green and duck pond. The village is well placed for exploring the area but if you wish to remain closer to home there are several small shops, two pubs and a restaurant serving meals

If you like waking up to far reaching, panoramic views of beautiful open countryside then you'll love Slee's Meadow View. You might also love the fact that this delightful, tastefully decorated modern detached property is just a mile from the sea and the very lovely yet rarely crowded Peppercombe Beach. At high tide this quiet stretch of beach is rocky but low tide will reveal deserted sands and some of the best rock pooling in the area. Little explorers love it! Even in high summer you could be alone here. The walk, through the wooded National Trust owned Peppercombe Valley, is superb and takes about 10-15 minutes. Dogs and their owners will love it - especially as the coast path is just 10 minute's stroll from the property.
Slee's Meadow View is also just a ten minute drive from the surf and sands at Westward Ho!, five minutes from the Big Sheep theme park, five minutes from The Milky Way fun park, ten minutes from the quaint village and harbour at Clovelly and about 30-40 minutes drive along the coast road to the surf and beaches at Bude.
Slee's Meadow View has a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area so it's a very social house to spend time in. A breakfast bar provides informal dining (or a chance to scrutinise the work of the chef whilst enjoying a glass of wine) and a large dining table with six places and a rise and fall lamp can bring a sense of occasion if you need it! On cooler nights the wood burning stove will add an extra cosy feel too. The southerly aspect means that the sun streams in through patio doors on sunny days and the conservatory, with its bookcases and comfy Chesterfield sofa, offers a quiet space to read or take in the views. Both bedrooms are spacious and have patio doors to make the most of the views.
You can step out into the large fenced rear garden from the conservatory - as well as from both bedrooms - to eat, enjoy the views or let the children and pets play (the garden is 'dog-proofed'). The bedrooms are served by a bright family bathroom.
Slee's Meadow View makes a great base for exploring this quiet and beautiful corner of North Devon. Whilst the outlook is rural, the house is close to the coast, RHS Rosemoor, local attractions and some great country pubs. The Coach and Horses at Horns Cross is just across the road too!

The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather! The beach is less than three miles and, with the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton five miles away, it is a perfect location for discovering Norfolk's splendid coastline. Ornithologists will enjoy the RSPB reserves close by and there are many excellent walks and cycle rides in the area. There are many attractions offering excellent days out nearby. The village has a selection of shops and there are also many pubs which serve food.

Lilac Cottage and Laburnham Cottage (1189) are pretty red brick terrace cottages with pantile roofs, built in 1910 and situated in the centre of the village conservation area, in a tranquil setting. Newly refurbished to a comfortable standard, the cottages are warm, cosy and well equipped within easy walking distance of the local facilities. Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. The town has a fine pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, multi-screen cinema, Amazonia zoo, indoor children's play barn, Kart Track, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top to enjoy the wonderful views.

Westmead is a classic 1930s house which faces the sea and has been in the same family ownership since it was built.
