In an elevated position close to the Hillsborough Nature Reserve, Cornmill Cottage is just a few minutes stroll from the small sand and shingle cove of Hele Bay. Just five minutes drive from Ilfracombe, Watermouth Castle and the secluded harbour of Watermouth Cove, it is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area. The cosy living room with oak beams and an impressive stone fireplace housing an electric wood burning stove leads through to a spacious kitchen / dining room oozing character and charm, ideal for family meals or romantic dinners and a stable door leads out onto a small fully enclosed decked patio. Fairly steep and narrow stairs, as can be expected in a cottage of this era, lead up to a huge master bedroom with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. A pretty twin room and modern family bathroom complete the picture. For the energetic an 18 hole golf course or indoor swimming pool is within walking distance and the South West Coastal Path can be joined nearby. For serious sand and surf lovers the award winning beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde are just a short drive away. Kitchen / dining room with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. First floor: Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with Twin.
