Panoramic estuary views can be enjoyed from this cosy fisherman’s cottage. Parking available roadside or in nearby car parks. Appledore has an abundance of unspoilt charm, its many fishermen's cottages tucked away in a maze of narrow cobbled pathways, and Corner Cottage, as you may expect, nestles in the corner between two similar cottages. Being in 'reverse style,' to take full advantage of the fabulous views, stairs lead to the cosy open plan first floor living room with the modern kitchen area to one end and comfortable seating area at the other. There is a bay window with French doors which when fully open create a balcony area inside the living room where you may sit and enjoy the panoramic views over the estuary. There are two bedrooms and a small bathroom on the ground floor; the double bedroom enjoys estuary views, and the small bunk bedded room is suitable for children under 11 years only. The pretty quayside with shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants is just a short stroll away. Corner Cottage is ideally suited for couples or young families seeking a good base from which to explore this beautiful area. Accommodation: Ground floor: Hall. Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with 2'6" Bunks for children under 11years only. Bathroom with bath and fitted shower over bath and basin. First floor: Open plan living/kitchen/dining room with TV(incorporating Freeview and a DVD/CD player). Kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Cloakroom WC.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. NS heating. Limited parking nearby, or in a public car park approx 250m away. Regret no pets. No smoking. A travel cot is available on request for parties of up to three plus one infant. Short breaks are available all year round, please ring to book for July & August. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday.
